Well I’m back. I apologize for slacking off for the past week. I have been sick and not feeling very inspired, but I’m back with more ambition than ever. I will have a new illustration to share in a couple of days so come back to check it out. Also I have started a rough story board for my own Graphic book featuring original short short stories and illustration all done by me! This is in the very beginning stages so as work starts to solidify I will share all that I can.

In other news: It’s Etsy listing Friday! Please visit both shops as I have listed 6 new products for each shop: Jermeh studios and Lovebadge.

Updates from the Studio…

Hello,

I am pleased to announce that I finally had some time to my Bamboo today. I took the tutorial but also just kind of figured things out for myself. I realize it will take some use getting used to but I am looking forward to getting to know it. My hand eye coordination is only so good. Below is my first sample use of the Bamboo…

I cant wait for my skills to develop with my new tablet. I hope to develop some of my comics with my new tool. I am still promising my mini comic series debut at the end of this month or early next month at the latest….which is also equally exciting.

Tomorrow I will be listing some new items on both Lovebadge and Jermeh studios, so come on back to check out the new products.

Also I am bringing back the playlist to some of my blog posts. I find music to be a big inspiration to my work and I am always interested in what other people are listening to, so why not let you know what I’m listening to…Enjoy.

Finally some new items on Jermeh Studios

It has been some time…and most recently due to the winter crafty wonderland show, but I have finally added some new work for purchase on the jermeh studios etsy. I will be adding a little bit each week to both of my shops, as i have a lot of new products that need to be shared.

I am also excited to announce something new… I am working on comic shorts for jermeh studios. I will be working towards creating a small book of these shorts but I will feature sneak peeks weekly on this blog. The comics will feature my characters Shib and the gang. Look for a premier coming later this month or early next month.

It has been quite awhile since I have blogged. I am looking forward to this new year to make a change and get things rolling. I will shortly be making a few changes my blogs…I will be shutting down the wonderful world of Jermeh and the board artist and will focus only on this blog. Bringing you all from jermehstudios, Lovebadge and anything I deem interesting. I will be back soon.best to you all in the new year.

Books of January

I am starting to keep track of what I have read for each month through out the year. I would love to know what other people are reading as well, I hope some find this useful to spark some interest in something they have yet to read!

I am proud to say that I read 5 books in January:

Book one: Chuck Klosterman Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs

CK is a great author and this book was good but not his best, I would recommend any of his newer stuff and Fargo Rock City.

Book Two: Stephen King On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft

I have not read to many of Stephen King’s massive catalog but out of all that I have read I found this book to be the best. It starts as a memoir of his life regarding writing and then the second half is devoted to techniques and advise about writing…very useful.

Book Three: Suzanne Collins The Hunger Games

Oh my gosh…amazing! This series is comparable to Harry Potter in readability and awesomeness. So So Good!

Book Four: Chuck Palahnuik Lullaby

CP is one of my favorite authors, this is one of his earlier books but it has creeped its way into my all time favs. Good Book!

Book Five: Suzanne Collins Catching Fire

SC leaves you wanting more and more…You think you know whats going to happen and then she throws you a curve ball. Can’t wait to read the third book in the series.
